Thinking on the Tarot

2016chateautarot-sstarReflections from the Chapel at Chateau Des Avenières

A definite highlight from my Summer 2016 trip to France was my visit to the Chapel at Chateau Des Avenières.

This more than picturesque setting on the border of the Swiss Alps held more than just a fancy chateau. As I was to continue to discover in the latter weeks of my trip, France is filled with esoteric wonder connecting to all kinds of ancient divination tools.

Inside the Chateau Des Avenières, is a small, yet stunning chapel that is more than unique in its décor. Its’ entire walls and ceiling are completely covered in mosaic title that brings to life the Major Arcana of the Tarot, astrology, and other mystical knowledge awaiting to be read in French.

As a both an astrologer and numerologist, one probably could guess I was absolutely in my glory here. While I do not professionally practice tarot as one of my consulting services, I have always sought out my own readings. Through decks that have been given to me, I studied tarot’s divination in my earlier years. Long before I understood my ability to channel from the planets above after receiving inspiration from Linda Goodman’s Star Signs; it was tarot that first taught me how our mighty vessels from above have a distinct connection to both astrology and numerology.

Chaldean Numerology –which is the method I practice- is considered to be loosely translated from the Major Arcana of the Tarot’s 0 to 21, as they relate to the numbers 1 to 22 in their Chaldean Karmic Mysteries. Gazing at the Chapel walls the mosaic art depicting the major arcana cards started to trigger how they do indeed interrelate.

Equally as you look to the ceiling, the zodiac wheel is displayed through the 12 astrological glyphs.  As I was taught, astrology and numerology are inseparable due to the guidance that our planets have over both divination tools. Planets are the true connective link of wisdom for our lives down here below, as their mysticism can be interpreted through astrology, numerology. Tarot undeniably unites the two through planetary wisdom as well.

Connecting the Dots
While the divination tool of tarot reading has always intrigued me through it’s visual abilities from the imagery of any tarot deck, visualization of Chaldean Numerology came to life when Linda Goodman’s Star Cards where published by Crystal Bush. As I sat in the Chapel at Chateau Des Avenières, I could not help but be stirred to truly sit and contemplate how both of these divination tools have so much to share in their ancient wisdoms.

“It is an undeniable fact that any given number is not merely one more than the previous number and one less than the subsequent number, but it is an independent individual idea, a thing itself; a spiritual, moral and intellectual substance, not only as much as, but a great deal more than, any human being.” ~The Master Therion, The Book of Thoth

As a meditative state continued to come over me in the Chapel, another perspective that also came to mind ties in to another divination deck I was also given and currently utilize in both my LunarOScopes and private consultations. Cartes de Nostradamus, is a completely number focused deck of it’s own kind depicting French clairvoyant Nostradamus’s interpretation of numbers 1 to 72, into the larger picture of life’s connectivity. Like the ancient Chaldeans, his insights still carry infinite significance for anyone to translate to bring peace of mind into their modern day world.

Below is a brief synopsis relating and comparing the key points of Tarot’s Major Arcana of *0-21; Chaldean Numerology’s channel of **Chaldean Karmic Mysteries 1-22;  Divinatory Meanings & Judgments written for Cartes de Nostradamus, 1-22.

*The Tarot’s 0 is always linked to Numerology’s 22. **After 1-9, Chaldean Numerology relates meanings of compound numbers through Chaldean Karmic Mysteries- depicting how to attain success through working with them individually. More often than not, a more direct relationship is seen within 10-22 as they connect back to Tarot.

Tarot 0 The Fool

22print

22’s Submission Caution

0 The Fool  |  22 Submission – Caution  |  22 Truth
Tarot views The Fool through the element of Air that represents emptiness, as well as potential purity. At best, The Fool is the moment of divine consciousness. At worst, the energy is too eccentric provoking unexpected reactions and sudden impulses that do not utilize the true intelligence that spirituality otherwise is able to bring.

The 22 is a Master Number, and one that comes with great responsibility. Chaldean Numerology titled it ‘Submission – Caution’ as it denotes the similar “fool” relationship with this number: “22 is symbolized by the ancients as “a Good Man, blinded by the folly of others, with a knapsack on his back, full of errors.”  In the image he seems to offer no defense against a ferocious tiger which is about to attack him. It’s a warning number of illusion and delusion. The karmic obligation here is to be more alert, to curb “spiritual laziness,” and develop more spiritual aggressiveness- to realize your own power to change things, to prevent failure by simply ordaining success.” ~Linda Goodman’s Star Signs

The divination meaning of 22 & ‘Truth’ states: “A young man with a hat of multicolored feathers like the fond thoughts in his head.” 22’s Judgment: “May the spur prick away bad habits and the bellows blow forth virtue.” ~Nostradamus

5 Reasons Why You Should Know Your Personal Forecast

SharitaStar.2015Forecasts

“As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been a strong believer in the importance of cycles. You’d better try to understand them, because all of your timing and often your luck is tied up in them.” ~Former Chrysler CEO, Lee Iacocca

Ah… it’s that merry time of the year again when most people who plan ahead -eagerly amongst their holiday hustle and bustle- are completely curious to know what’s coming up in the approaching New Year. Aside from forming New Year’s Resolutions, many want a bird’s eye view of what they can expect once the clock turns into 2015 at midnight, 31 December 2014.

While some can enjoy hearing their “predictions” from any given psychic,  for those who are open to understanding that the Universe already has a precise forecast for you -that is custom made and extremely personalized due to the very day you were born upon- you’ll want to keep reading.

Astrology and Numerology are two amazing tools we have here on earth for self-knowledge and guidance that can crack your timing codes and align your peace of mind like few others can. There are precise patterns of energy that constantly surround you called cycles. Cycles are depicted from both our astrological and numerological guidance.

Here are 5 reasons to help open your mind as to why astrology and numerology are able to provide you with a more than accurate forecast directly relating to your cycles, which, always still allow your free will the ability to optimally choose your experiences from at any given time.

1. Know Your “GPS” aka, Current Personal Year Cycle
Via numerology, you always are flowing in time in 9 year spans, that naturally circulate from 1 to 9 as you celebrate another birthday each year.  Each cycle provides us with powerful guidance directing us to a precise focus, that when applied, unfolds timely results we want to see verses living by default.

Wherever we may presently be in the 1 to 9 Personal Year Cycles- we are able to tap into our precise timing which will properly indicate our most favored moments of when to begin, when to reflect, when to learn, when to be patient, when to change and why we should expect it, when to seek to understand, when to be alone, when to expect recognition, and when to let go and release. What other joys that numbers can do for us is break down our forecast even deeper, as we equally “spin in time” in 1 to 9 month to month and day to day cycles.

2. Know When You Are Best to Begin or Reflect Every Month
Via astrology, one of the simplest forecasting tools comes from the very Moon we can see each night. From the natural beginnings of a New Moon, initiating a monthly waxing phase, increasing back in the light offering us time to begin- there is equally a right time to release upon a Full Moon as it kicks-off a monthly waning phase, favoring reflection and renewal. Within any natal astrological birthchart, the New and Full Moon every month is another precise timing tool indicating when and what area of life you can expect to be starting or finishing things up within.

3. Know When There Are Regular Workweek “Timeouts”
Via astrology, another complete time and money saver is knowing when a passage called Moon Void of Course occurs. This marvelous astrological timing tool precisely points to favored periodic “timeouts” in life that occur throughout any given workweek. All Moon VOC passages specifically advise against scheduling any initiations, important meetings or even making purchases of any kind for long-term success, for “nothing becomes of it.” Following this critical astrological “rule” as it also directly applies to you, prevents you from wasting valuable time and money!

4. Know When You Are Requested to Sharpen the Inner Saw
Via astrology, another cycle that people aimlessly go through life foolishly struggling through is Mercury Retrograde. When we have the “heads up” in advance about when our Messenger planet Mercury is going to do his “backwards” dance from above, we can also be completely forewarned and prepared to expect and embrace the natural communication and movement changes this reoccurring cycle brings. When Mercury is Retrograde, the passage asks for review and redo in your life, and this will occur in 3 different areas of it over one given year’s time. This is an inner planet cycle that truly is one that irritates most more than it is ever life threatening, so advanced awareness and preparation for it aligns amazing peace of mind.

5. Know How Your Astrology & Numerology Forecasts Relate
Via astrology and numerology, the cross-referencing of what is happening from the numbers side of your life can be examined right alongside the cycles that your natal astrology birthchart clearly sees is currently happening around you, from the Moon all the way out to Pluto. These directly relate due to the simple fact of how both subjects are guided by the same planets. When you know the planet behind your Current Personal Year, and see what area of life this is currently transiting in your astrology chart, you have a very precise and accurate place to understand those whys going on in life, ultimately pointing where it is absolutely best to focus to make more of that of aligning your peace of mind in your now.

There are many, many more than just 5 reasons why you should know your current Personal Forecast. Valuable, reassuring and incredible details unfold from your forecast about properly timing important decisions in your life, and the other whens, wheres, hows and why is life happening as it is around you. These are just the very beginning of the insightful benefits that understanding the cycles of astrology and numerology can provide for anyone.

So, what’s been stopping you? Isn’t it time to align peace of mind in your changing times?

What’s Really in a Word? Self-Realization

Self.RealizationSStar“In humbleness you find a valley of dreams redolent with blossoms of Self-realization.”
– Paramahansa Yogonanda

If you are a regular follower of our monthly Word Ponder, you’ll have innately grasped from March how happiness is what happens from within, allowing you to enjoy the accomplishment that also affirms this is part of the personal journey during April. So now we wonder as we think about where to ponder next, perhaps you just might already be experiencing the realms of SELF-REALIZATION?

Self-realization is defined as: “a fulfillment of personal potential.”  We decided to ponder this word because the very question, what’s really in a word? will clarify that indeed, the energy within and surrounding self-realization is always awaiting for you to embrace it. By now, if you recognize when you are experiencing accomplishment- you are more than likely already very tuned into what your potential truly is. As life shows you more of what you are every single day of existence, are you feeling any sense of self-realization yet?

Like accomplishment, the desire to sustain oneself in the stream of personal potential is another very basic human goal. How many times have we all been asked, “So what have you realized up till now within your life?”  Depending upon our answers, we find there may be a myriad of responses that present themselves- which are much more humble and relate to our dreams than we might originally think. Equally, it is interesting to discover how numerology and lexigrams view self-realization.

What does it take to enjoy a routine sense of self-realization? It takes a rhythm that is attuned to a vibration. Every sound we utter contains an unseen channel of energy, and thus, when we speak our names and engage with the action of our words, there is an underlying current, this unseen force that connects that vibration into it’s own individual expression.

When we examine the Name Expression of SELF-REALIZATION -which is the numerological energy that is always behind it through the values of the letters that compose it- we find it has, as numbers always will provide, the very key points to know what exactly to do within the action of it. One should not be surprised it is guided by the Chaldean understanding of the 2, which represents the pure concepts of imagination, parenthood and sensitivity. Knowing the singular energy of the 2 is also ruled by the Moon -who governs over our emotions- here in lies the real key to tap fully into this marvelous word that can bring us such fulfillment.

Breaking down SELF and REALIZATION, we see that both of these words carry vibrations of the 1, with Self being the 19’s The Prince of Heaven and Realization as the 37/10’s The Wheel of Fortune. Of interest to note first is the energy behind the self. This karmic reward vibration of the 1 is the most fortunate Chaldean Karmic number to ever find in the numerological analysis. Said the Chaldeans of the 19 through its’ karmic mystery, “19 is one of the most fortunate and favorable of all compound numbers. It is symbolized as the Sun, and it is called the Prince of Heaven because it indicates victory over all temporal failure and disappointment. It blesses the person or entity represented by it with all the power of the Compound number 10, without the danger and abuse inherent in the 10.  This number promises happiness and fulfillment- success in all ventures as well as in the personal life. The 19 will smooth the path and greatly dilute any negative vibrations one must deal with in the full numerological analysis.” ~Linda Goodman’s Star Signs

Within the 37/10’s Chaldean Karmic Mystery we also find: “10 is symbolized by Isis and Osiris. A number of rise and fall, according to personal desire. It will be known for good or evil, depending on the action chosen. 10 is capable of arousing the extreme responses of love or hate – respect or fear. There is no middle ground between honor or dishonor. Every event is self-determined. 10 is the symbol of LOve and LIght, which create all that can be imagined, and also contains the code: Image 10 Ordain. Image it and it shall be. Ordain it and it will materialize. The power for manifesting creative concepts into reality is inherent, but must be used with wisdom, since the power for absolute creation contains the polarity power for absolute destruction. Self-discipline and infinite compassion must accompany the gift of the former to avoid the tragedy of the latter. Discipline must precede Dominion. Unfortunately, some 10 people fail to realize their power potential, and consequently harbor deep-seated feelings of frustration, causing them to feel unfulfilled, and to occasionally behave in a somewhat proud and arrogant manner to cover such unnecessary feelings of inferiority.” ~Linda Goodman’s Star Signs

When we take the self, and combine it with realization, within this blending and pairing of two 1 vibrations, the outcome of this Name Expression holds more details to share. As 1 + 9 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1 and 3 + 7 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1: our 1 + 1’s = 2. Whenever we see 2, we have the guidance of The Nurturer right by our side, backed up by The Moon’s, instinct, emotion, and imagination. Looking at the combination of the 1 + 1, we have an inner double influence of the Sun’s asking for creativity, benevolence and protection. While the self will always seek on its’ own the realms of initiation that the 1 always requests, as it discovers this through what equally wishes to begin through realization, the very action of self-realization bring us to that desired reflective feel. As this taps us into a pure innate state of being in a space where we are vulnerable to what is beyond the flame that sparks our journeys, we can be at peace with what spending time in contemplation of it all really means.

As the self works with realization, we master it by uniting that we are promised happiness and fulfillment, allowing us to acknowledge our success through those accomplishments as well as in the personal life- with the discipline and dominion that engaging in realization brings. By choosing to be fully within what we can Imagine and then Ordain, we can manifest our highest potential to be the creative being we can here to be.  What few might conclude is that in The Wheel of Fortune’s constant spin, it is knowing the realizations we arrive at, are soon enough to change once again. And so another clue about the outer Name Expression here of the singular 2, being ever guided by that imagination and what we feel, there is no consistency to self-realization. Just like the Moon itself -the fastest moving vessel in our skies above- our state of emotion and what we realize keeps changing and evolving as we continue upon our grand journey of life.

The mysteries of Lexigrams have more evidence to support the meaning within SELF-REALIZATION, and what it is simply able to do for any of us. By taking the anagrams we can derive from this word, and spiral them into poetic phrases, the Lexigram process brings one more piece of the puzzle to place into our mastery of life about what’s really hiding within it in truth. The reality that relates to how to best reap the rewards this word wishes for us all to assimilate into our human experiences, is as always, ready to be spelled out from the very letters that compose it.

SELF-REALIZATION

AS I LET LIFE ANOINT IT IN ONE, I SEE A FREE LINE I RELATE TO AS I LEARN ONESELF

AS I FERTILIZE IN LIFE I SEE REASON, I SEE IT IS A RESILIENT LIAISON

AS LIFE IS SEEN IN SOLITAIRE REALITIES I ISOLATE, I FEEL FREE, I FEEL REAL

AS I REST IN LIFE IN A FEEL IT ALL TONE, I FEAR NOT AS I NOTARIZE IT AS I FILTER

AS REAL LIFE IS SENT IN ALL I FEEL, I LISTEN IN ON A SEER LINE I REFINE TO FORETELL IT IN

SO AS I LET LIFE RESONATE IN A FREE FEEL, I SOFTEN, I SEE IT IN A REAL REASON

LET LIFE ORIENT ON A REAL TRAIL IN A SILENT LISTEN: I ENLIST IT AS I SIT STILL

LIFE IS A REAL ORNATE LISTEN TO ANOINT IT IN AN STELLAR INERTIA I SEE I FLOAT IN

AS I LET LIFE IN TO FEEL IT FREE, I LIFT IT, I SENSE IT IN A ZEAL ZONE I TAILOR IN RELIEF

AS I REALIZE IT IN ONE, I SEE IT, I FEEL IT, I RETAIN IT ALL IN A RELIANT ETERNAL ELATION

Rejoicing in Regeneration: 03 Nov 2013 Solar Eclipse In Scorpio

Some astrological details on this Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Scorpio, for those who enjoy the investigation. I have been leaving this out of the Lunar-O-Scopes as we really like them to be as clear and “jargon free” as possible to relate to everyone instead of being intimidating. But this Solar Eclipse calls for some deep thought, so if you are a lover of going there and learning how astrology is such a profound tool for increasing the results in your everyday life, keep reading.

If you are going to tap into grasping astrology for yourself and have a little more fun with looking at the chart above, you’ve got to learn your glyphs.  Check out the guide to the glyphs under Explore –or click on your right up there on our nav bar – and play on our Star Secrets Wheel, (grab a free intro reading too if you want!).  Glyphs are the symbols used in astrology that represent each planet or sign, which is the decoding system you are actually seeing in any birth chart or current forecast, which is the Solar Eclipse EST chart above.

Looking today’s Solar Eclipse EST capture, our planet glyphs are in color, and the glyph of the sign they are in is in black. Astrology measures our zodiac from the 360 degree wheel, divided into the 12 different signs, each occupying 30 degrees of space, depicted from 0 to 29 degrees. Each piece of the pie is called a house (or room of your life when looking to the natal birth chart), and thus gains its’ characteristics and qualities it governs from the natural order of the zodiac.  As any current forecast chart is seen, the energy flowing through it is determined from the earth’s perspective of what sign is rising on the horizon at any given moment in time.

At the time of 03 November 2013’s Solar Eclipse in EST, the Sun, (circle glyph with a center dot) had recently risen from the darkness of night. Solar Eclipses only can happen upon a New Moon, when the Moon is right at the very same degree point (conjunction) as our Sun, (which is why, on a New Moon, you don’t see it for a few days).  Today this is at 11 degrees Scorpio, in perfect alignment with our Sun.

Notice the “planet party” going on in house number 12. Here is why this Solar Eclipse is “so intense.” The brown “h” looking glyph of Saturn is right next to it at 13 degrees Scorpio, again another close conjunction, which basically can also be related as having “too many cooks in the kitchen.” More than two conjunct planets are a complete concentration of energy within one sign at any given time, which casts off an extremely strong channel to handle. With Saturn involved here, we are always looking to a slow process evolving, which in Scorpio right now is asking for ultimate responsibility to learn from the experience and allow this to bring a level of stability to our lives. Patience is Saturn’s “m.o.” and when we do not listen to his current call for it, he absolutely will -just like a father figure- toss you another lesson to understand how to utilize this practice until you “get it.”

Having Saturn conjunct a New Moon and Solar Eclipse will slow down the new beginnings it promises to bring, which also will appear in our lives as rather karmic in their experiences as they emerge. Yet, if we listen closely to this area of our life, we also will find plenty of reward with what comes along with them. As we see this in the transforming energy of Scorpio, action is occurring associated with a process of death going on- a true presence of a powerful regenerative force that undeniably will display a rebirth. Those in resistance to what is leaving the life to make room for the new here, will certainly find that age old expression of being futile to be all the more true.

In the same 12th house on our EST chart,  Mercury Retrograde, is also here only 4 degrees away at 07 degrees Scorpio, who is in an exact conjunct from the North Node (blue upside down horseshoe glyph). At present, Mercury is in his backwards review and redo show, so while a trigger of new energy is beckoning at our doors, there is another warning to not make important decisions for the future until he starts moving forward again after 10 November. As our New Moon and Solar Eclipse occurred, Mercury and the North Node -in their planetary recipe- are asking for a true emotion and feeling review session from this area of the life involving how our communications are being received and expressed. Our North Node asks for extra work and effort in order to see the progress within this area of the life to unfold, which will allow the energy unfolding in the opposing South Node (lucky horseshoe glyph across the way in house 6 in Taurus) to be able to flourish much easier. Typically, the work the North Node asks us to do is the processing of what is blocking us emotionally here to be able to allow that extra effort to heal us. Wherever our current North Node is, there is healing to be done- and if we do our soul homework- this compliments us with rewards seemingly effortlessly with strokes of “luck” where the South Node is bringing in a completion in life.

This is the second New Moon in Scorpio (which only happens once a year) that has a Solar Eclipse attached to it. Solar Eclipses are the powerful punch that not only promise new beginnings with a New Moon, but will continue to bring them into our now for up to one years time from this same area of the life. 13 November 2012 brought one, and Saturn had just entered Scorpio at this time. Once again the way they are coming persists and calls for our ultimate patience as they come in. Life in Scorpio is slow for these two years, and seemingly extremely so. For those expecting the fast and furious, typical high paced “insta now” pace here, don’t kid yourself. Saturn doesn’t move on to Sagittarius until the start of 2015.

What is occurring within Scorpio right now is nothing short of profound. This sign of secrets, mystery, the esoteric, death/rebirth, that “eagle eye” scope of seeing the entire picture, and powerfully forcing us to feel the depths of the core of our beings- will not back down for a while in calling us from above to step into our truth and live it down here below. 03 November 2013’s Solar Eclipse is here to trigger not only to stop being irresponsible to what needs to change, but recognize that change is always what brings more truth to our lives.

Other planetary conversation that we see motivating this second Solar Eclipse in Scorpio to instigate change comes from the sextile (harmonious, easeful energy) from Mars, (take a look at the red circle glyph with the arrow pointing out of it from house 10). Also at the 11 degree point but in Virgo, Mars sextiling this New Moon and Solar Eclipse lets us know there is an even more stimulating force in how these changes will take place. What’s coming will be more than straightforward, asking that we “stop beating around the bush” to recognize what does need to shift and improve to that ultimately freeing level of rebirth within our lives. As Mars equally sextiles the entire current planet party going on in Scorpio, it will bring intense conclusions to be communicated to us from Virgo, equally coupled by logic, a touch of purity, and really getting these details totally in place. As Mars penetrates in the mutability and earthen nature of Virgo -he currently at this moment in time- brings to all that is progressing within Scorpio’s depth of perception and rebirthing from it’s fixed watery darkness, the promise to unfold the TRUTH. For some, this may HURT, but these realizations will be the key to what moving forward upon this earth in freedom is really all about.

As we all have one more week under Mercury’s Retrograde until 10 November, let us all take our time to really feel what’s happening from the Scorpio area of our lives. There’s no need to react to it, but as we honor this requested time of reflection in response- what will undoubtedly be coming forward in stunning new beginnings here soon enough will be all the more well-received and understood. Remember, you always have your collective view from knowing your Sun Sign, but there’s nothing like the precise road map and blueprint for life that you were given from the time your first took breath upon this earth (your natal birth chart) to really see how this Solar Eclipse is calling like one has not done in quite some time to be ultimately responsible to the changes that are underway, and will continue to patiently rebirth here.

It’s time to rejoice in regeneration within The Eagle! Happy Soaring to your new beginnings, with the pleasure of AN ANCIENT PEACE PACE of PATIENCE to be able to ENJOY YOUR JOY along the JOURNEY.

Namaste.
