Let’s Get Conscious for Mars Retrograde, 06 Dec 2024 to 23 Feb 2025

Our experience of Autumn 2024 moving into the heart of Winter 2025, completely casts us into the ultimate request to honor reflection like humanity has never quite experienced up til now.

Unlike his close neighbor Mercury, it’s been awhile since The Pioneer planet took some necessary “time off.” The last Mars Retrograde cycle of reflection was within the sign of Gemini 30 October 2022 to 12 January 2023 when we were absolutely asked to honor the soul homework of closing the gap of the UNTIE to the UNITE.

Prior to that, we were in the fired up in reflection requests within the sign of Aries 06 September to 13 November 2020 seeking for us to be Staying In Our Own Lane.

The 3rd passage for our 2020’s Decade from Mars under a Retrograde passage will be ultimately once again upgrading our need for retreat as well as our conscious abilities to be paying extremely close attention to all of our timing matters.

Upon 06 December 2024 stationed at 06 degrees Leo: the next cycle of reflection, review and redo commences for Mars as it turns Retrograde until 23 February 2023, stationed before turning Direct, at 17 degrees Cancer.

Since its’ preparation for reflection Approach began 05 October at 17 degrees Cancer it will take until 23 February 2025 to move back to this very same 17 degrees point in Cancer once Mars starts to Retrograde at 06 degrees Leo 06 December.

These intense reflective forces from Mars will be engaging within two different signs.

In Leo from 06 December 2024 until 05 January 2025

Reflection will distinctly call moving from 06 to 0 degrees within the fixed fire organization sign of creative self-expression, loyalty, the heart of the matter, protection, children, manifestation, dignity and all exchanges of inspiration and faith energies that are favored by The Lion.

In Cancer from 05 January to 23 February 2025

Reflection will distinctly call moving from 29 to 17 degrees within the cardinal water leadership sign of emotional unfoldment, nurturing, feelings, imagination, food, nourishment, caring for others, the home, family and all exchanges of receiving impressions and gut sensation energies that are favored by The Crab.

Remembering Prince

I take this time now to pause and stop talking about what the Stars saw about Prince. While I can be comforted by understanding there is a timing is everything tale to tell, there is a much more personal way I would like to remember this special soul who unknowingly helped me through a great deal in my personal life.

I grew up with parents who had wonderful taste in music, exposing me to plenty of 1960-80’s blues and rock and roll. Yet, Prince was someone I gravitated to on my very own. I remember my Mother gave me the album “Purple Rain” by 5th grade for Christmas and she said, “Don’t listen to the lyrics.”

Well, the natal Libra Moon I have in my own chart is all about the lyrics within a song, so of course, I didn’t listen to her. As the years went by, I gravitated to cassette tapes and eventual CDs and my Prince collection became more than extensive. His music always could allow me to feel a freedom that was not always easily reached due to my conservative upbringing.

I was definitely listening to the lyrics.

It wasn’t until my mid 30’s that a childhood memory of being sexually molested by a trusted family friend came back into my space to process and heal. Of course, astrology helped me a great deal at this time because any natal chart can clearly indicate if a person may experience such a tragic experience during their life.

What Prince’s music did on so many levels to help me heal my own wounds, can not be properly explained, nor given enough gratitude to. I have always said he channels such a healthy sense of sexuality- to not have to feel ashamed, dirty, shy nor embarrassed about this very, very natural human form of expression.

Yet when you are sexually abused as a young child and your subconscious buries it for your own protection for 30 years, it can really take a toll on a many outcomes and personal choices one can make as you experience life along the way.

Just a few days after Prince’s passing, I traveled from New York to New Orleans, (happily revisiting a 10 hour set of my Prince collection on the 1st leg out to West Virginia), and stopped in Atlanta on the way to see my dear friend, Rising Star Megan Hayes in a brilliant play appropriately titled Sex With Strangers. One of our many bonds is but of course, Prince.

That night after the stunning and thought provoking production from Horizon Theatre Company –which became an equal part of an intense healing process for me- I had a dream about Prince. It was one of those “clear as day” ones, which always are so fascinating to receive.

I was with friends from college at Prince’s house. We were all enjoying social time and one of them was kinds acting all too “star struck” and I said, “You know you just can’t do that, lol, this is Prince for God’s sake! Have some respect!”

The dream scene shifted to a restaurant. Prince and I were standing at the corner of an empty bar. He looked good and healthy, and he was definitely short as he is in real life. I told him my story and couldn’t thank him enough for what his music had done to truly console and help me navigate through some more than challenging feelings to become sexually open and healed in my life once again.

He didn’t say too much back, but almost like a maestro, his song ‘For the Tears in Your Eyes’ started playing in the background. Then he said, “You can dry your eyes now.” I simply gave him a great big hug.

Of course, I woke up crying, and absolutely amazed.

One thing is for sure. Love Never Dies.

For those who are interested, I share some brief words on how the Stars equally regard the ingenuity of Prince.

There is so much that astrology and numerology can do to help us all better process and understand the sudden passing of Prince, who transited in Spirit 21 April, 2016.

Whether it was part of his honoring of being a Jehovah Witness or not- it was deep within his 7 karmic path nature to keep his philanthropic deeds quiet.

This was never the glory he sought to be recognized for, but absolutely something his 36/9 Lifepath wished to do to help those in need as this numerology influence instinctively enjoys defending the underdog and being a pioneer. 36’s Chaldean Karmic Mystery is known as ‘The Sceptre’ and their torch will be carried very high, often following along a yellow brick road in life that promises a form of fame and celebrity.

Equally, as a Gemini Sun, Prince carried the energy of duality through this extremely intellectual air sign’s symbolism of The Twins. His musical genius that we saw on stage was quite different from the generous genius that choose to remain quiet when he was off of it.

What’s Really in a Word? Achievement

If you are a regular follower of our monthly Word Ponder, you’ll have innately grasped from April how accomplishment is truly an act of uniting in intuition, allowing you to enjoy the self-realization that also affirms you cannot attain it without the same during May. So now we wonder as we think about where to ponder next, perhaps you just might already be experiencing the realms of ACHIEVEMENT?

Achievement is defined as: “something that somebody has succeeded in doing, usually with effort; the act or process of finishing something successfully.” We decided to ponder this word because the very question, what’s really in a word? will clarify that indeed, the energy within and surrounding achievement is always awaiting for you to recognize it, even in the smallest feats within our lives. By now, if you acknowledge when you are experiencing self-realization- you are more than likely already very tuned into what your soul is here to accomplish. As the wonders, mysteries and changes of everyday life come to you in your now, are you feeling any sense of achievement yet?

Like accomplishment and self-realization, the desire to succeed while equally feeling good within our personal potentials are very basic human goals. How many times have we all been asked, “So what are you feeling good about that have you achieved up till now within your life?” Depending upon our answers, we find there may be a myriad of responses that present themselves- once again that may not be measured by the status quo definition of overwhelming success that comes with dollar signs attached to it. Equally, it is interesting to discover how Chaldean numerology and lexigrams view achievement.

What does it take to enjoy a routine sense of achievement? It takes a rhythm that is attuned to a vibration. Every sound we utter contains an unseen channel of energy, and thus, when we speak our names and engage with the action of our words, there is an underlying current, this unseen force that connects that vibration into it’s own individual expression.

Seemingly, there is “work” to be done in the energy of the 44, and as we find that singular 8’s guidance through Saturn here, again, we should not be that surprised. If you are a regular follower of our monthly Word Ponder, you’ll have innately grasped by now from April how to reap those infinite possibilities within your life and taking them into visualization in May. Now, we move forward to how these understandings are even more enhanced when taking a listen to your SIXTH SENSE is implemented.

Looking right away at the SIXTH SENSE’s numerological Name Expression of the 12’s The Sacrifice – The Victim, we find that there is a intense learning responsibility when it comes to its’ practice. It is interesting to note the wisdom being told to us here. The Chaldeans valued the 12 as a number that always requires one to be the “kneeling, submissive student” in life.
