What Are You Feeling? Understanding Your Point of Attraction
The Law of Attraction promises our feelings guide our thinking as we intentionally create our lives. Lunar energy from above is astrologically in charge of how human emotions evolve down here below. Each month, a New Moon opens a waxing cycle favoring energy to initiate while a Full Moon opens a waning cycle allowing for completion, reflection and release. LunarOScopes capture the forecast of this natural rhythm, timing when your Sun Sign sees the benefits by starting anew and letting go.

New Moon in Aquarius, 08 February, Let’s Begin & Initiate
Waxing Phases favor actions involving planting anew and moving forward, as energy increases throughout one half of your Zodiac Pie until the next Full Moon in Virgo 22 February. Our second New Moon of 2016 promises plenty of innovation to be behind what is seen to emerge, so get out your originality and be ready to think outside of the box to bring these important breakthroughs into being.

This New Moon is the start of a Moon Void of Course “timeout,” so our favored time to officially begin is a slight delayed. Monday will seem energetically “off” to sat the very least.

Equally, it begins the Chinese New Year 2016: The Year of the Fire Monkey. Another interesting alignment as the Zen Proverb says, “Let go or be dragged.” Remember we are in 2016’s Choosing Our Courage in a 9 Universal Year as the Fire Monkey will now reign.

ARIES: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Socialize.
Initiating energy favors focusing upon future goals as your hopes call in new friends, organizations and groups. Connect the believing dots to how you are radically changing your approaches to life. Accept invitations to mix and mingle, as the world wishes to see a completely different and new you.

TAURUS: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Structure.
Career matters move forward, finding recognition and reward, as your public life takes priority. New responsibilities grant promotions or harvests you can rely upon. You’ll discover solitary time to process from within is necessary, and if your nighttime dreams speak of the unusual, listen carefully to them.

GEMINI: It’s time to focus upon the new with what I Believe.
Your philosophies are alive with never seen before changes, as education and spiritual pursuits ask you to journey afar. When you see how your hopes, wishes and future goals are equally part of this picture, it is your originality that bridges the gap to allow them to socialize with groups and friends.

CANCER: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Transform.
The most regenerative new moon of your year now asks you to embrace breakthrough rebirth concerning your overall state of wealth and sexuality. It’s time to let the past go, and work with the innovative energy that your career and public life calls for you to honor change in unexpected ways.

LEO: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Relate.
New agreements are favored to form within your business or personal partnerships, some of which will be full of surprises. As you equally understand learning and growth is part of what you are radically changing concerning what you believe, you find even more originality to be able to express.

VIRGO: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Serve.
Breakthrough ways are now ready to serve first and foremost yourself, so what you do for others sees fundamental change. Equally, your health, habits and routines activate new paths. This is a powerful transformation as long as you do not doubt the difference you feel, for you are more than reborn.

LIBRA: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Create.
Your children or brain-children capture your attention, as creative adventures ask you to find unusual ways to feed them with your original flavor. Pay close attention to what your partnerships have to lend to this overall picture, for they have more than unexpected ideas to align the balance you seek.

SCORPIO: It’s time to focus upon the new with how I Nurture.
New life bursts open unusual doors within your home and family life, and if déjà vu finds you, listen carefully to it. Expect the unforeseen, as there are equal ways that these changes which are emerging will ask you to take on different habits and routines in how you serve yourself, others and your health.

SAGITTARIUS: It’s time to focus upon the new with what I Communicate.
Brainstorms welcome plenty of originality to your state of mind, as well as all of your communication aims. An absolutely superb time for writing things down, you’ll also discover there are creative sparks that will be ignited so you can make more magic and surprises happen as you shine upon your stage.

CAPRICORN: It’s time to focus upon the new with what I Have.
Giving gratitude for what you already have opens new doors to rely on as your earning power now favors an unexpected increase. The real value here makes the most sense to what also is still under innovative change in your home and family life, especially if new possessions are being considered.

AQUARIUS: It’s time to focus upon the new with who I Am.
Your approaches to life now begin again, as the world sees your appearance has changed. As your first impressions to life now find an originality that makes a huge difference, this is good news as well for your peace of mind- and be sure to keep pen and paper handy for your fresh ideas to be captured.

PISCES: It’s time to focus upon the new where I Process.
Time in the silent listen unfolds rewards as new answers speak from your solitude and inner process. Note any unusual messages dreams contain for your waking life, as these hold the clues for you to consider, especially ones that speak of value, how you earn or the material objects you possess.

The Year of the Water Snake 2013

We collectively celebrate the Chinese New Year on the Aquarius New Moon 10 February 2013: The Year of the Snake/Water Year. The Chinese Zodiac can lend anyone valuable insight into their personality and natural tendencies, further enhancing what our Western Zodiac is able to provide.

ASTROLOGY: THE EAST MEETS WEST
The intricate link that is the common ground of understanding to how the East and West relate is the transit of Jupiter -which takes approximately one year to pass through any Zodiac sign- resulting in a 12 year cycle to complete the entire Zodiac Wheel. Jupiter is the planet that represents where typically -if a sense of control and awareness are present- good luck, fortune, prosperity, growth and optimism will flow freely within the life as one examines the classic tropical astrology birth chart. From the East’s perception, during the current animal year that always begins upon an Aquarian New Moon until the next lunar pass of it, we will see the return of Jupiter to the zodiac sign it correlates to in the West’s astrology chart.

Our friends in the East take their Zodiac and equally separate it into 12 signs as does Western Astrology. Here in the West it takes only one year to represent all 12 signs on our Zodiac wheel as our Sun passes through them month to month, relating to our change of seasons through cardinal, fixed and mutable energies represented within the elements of fire, earth, air and water. Our friends in the East take 60 years to complete a full cycle, as each animal every 12 years is depicted through 5 different elemental years of earth, metal, water, wood, and fire. Both the West and East honor the signs being masculine/yang or feminine/yin energy as well.

ENTER THE SNAKE
The Snake –a yin fire animal- comes into Zodiac play for us for the first time since 1953-54 in a Water elemental year. Our last Snake year was 2001-02, where it was in a metal guided energy for the passage. While we are starting off 2013-14’s Year of the Water Snake under Jupiter in Gemini, by the early summer Jupiter enters Cancer, which is the transit associated with how we are best to identify what will transpire under the influence of the Snake.

Snakes in the West are often professed to be dangerous, creepy and generally feared. This is not the case in the East. The Snake holds deep mystical symbolism and high esteem as an energy that helps one better understand the process of transformation along their spiritual journey in life. Honored as a source of sacredness, beauty and wisdom, snakes should not be underestimated in their somnolent and passive appearance. With minds that penetrate deeply, they possess an innate ability to listen and give rich advice, seeing beyond the surface and can perceive and discover all kinds of hidden truths. Typically curious, intelligent and reflective, Snakes are quite known to appreciate what the unknown can teach to them, and thoroughly enjoy sharing these secrets and any good advice with others.

NUMEROLOGY AND THE SNAKE
Now the collective experiences the 6th year within a 9 (2008 to 2016) and 12-year cycle (Year of the Rat, 2008 to Year of the Pig, 2019) where the seeds planted in 2008 are seeing a state of balance returning after all of 2012’s permanent changes. After the midway point of the current collective 9 yr span has passed, we also have now reached the halfway mark around the Chinese Zodiac Wheel, as a transformative year speaks before the next half begins in 2014.

Strengthening compassion and understanding within our relationships and especially family ties throughout the present year aides in the eventual collective harvest, just a couple more years further down the road in 2015. With Venus guiding the singular 6’s energy over 2013, there is plenty of harmony, contemplation, peace and justice to be found amongst the Snakes’ urges for deep philosophical ponderings which dive into morality. 2013 marks the time where seeing both sides of the issues at hand make for brilliant perceptions to be discovered, as mankind is wise to step into his heart space to better comprehend his reason for being here at this time upon the earth.

THE WATER SNAKE 2013
The collective can expect this to be a time of karmic experiences offering up regeneration and change wherein balance is restored from them. Honest acts are rewarded, while those handling hurtful secrets will find them being exposed. Attention placed upon self-renewal is favored, and the adaptation to the attitude of grace under any kind of pressure will prevail over anxious reactions. Working efficiently and economically brings serenity, for duplicity is present for this passage, and remembering to keep an eye on every detail while taking less gambles brings buoyancy in financial dealings. An intuitive intelligence is easily available to anyone willing to better understand the soul’s process and purpose. Matters of morality strongly become a focal point, as questions get asked and the answers appear to further understanding for humanity. It is an auspicious year within The Water Snake for the arts to especially nurture these ideals and create works that provide profound insight for the human cause.

Life in a Water Snake Year evokes the nature of an instinctive presence that taps us into an imaginative mood for the collective. Especially once Jupiter enters Cancer in early July, we will have 3 outer planets in water signs. Upon 17 July as Jupiter in Cancer reaches 04 degrees, it makes a Grand Trine to Saturn at 04 degrees Scorpio and Neptune at 04 degrees Pisces. At this 04 degree mark, be ready for innovative, original, and break-through sensations to stream into where your water sign points align in the Zodiac Pie. While Neptune will hold back in the early degrees of Pisces, Jupiter and Saturn meet up later upon 12 December at 18 degrees for another exact trine between Cancer and Scorpio, drawing upon more conclusions that propel us to hone in further upon spiritual means over materialistic gains driven by ego.

These planetary meet-ups promise to offer the potential for the collective to get happy about breaking through to a deep and rich inspiration that will aide in awakening to further truths that can steady success, as long as eyes are open and responsible to ways that are wise and just. With the Snake representing Yin Fire energy, what transpires over the year ahead brings forth profound reflection, coupled with a dynamic sympathetic understanding about our lives. Heralding transformation within our state of feeling, we can unite what has been divided in our outer world for far too long in order to continue living life the way it can be embraced with mysticism and enthusiasm as our guiding lights.

The Snake is the considered an extremely karmic Chinese animal and holds intense symbolism upon their Zodiac Wheel. They firmly believe that those born in a Snake year, incarnate to balance out whatever past life karma is left unsettled to free the soul. Snakes are easy to handle problems that may come their way, and are rare to subscribe to letting whatever they must overcome get them down.  Innate advice givers -but not always the ones to easily receive it- these Spirits are here to generously help others in their deep thinking and perceptive ways. When they follow the path of warmth, comforting others, and protection, they find love and respect; while if they slither towards actions in life that breed suspicion, vengeful or crafty results, they find cruelty and intolerance instead. So too, will these principles exist and persist within this Chinese Zodiac Year, so remember the wiser ways of the Snake and one will prevail.

LEXIGRAMS AND THE SNAKE
As we look to add some Lexigram insight as we examine the very title of ‘THE YEAR OF THE WATER SNAKE’ we find, uncannily enough, the truth can be spelled out from the very letters composing it. In the simplicity of the SNAKE alone, it is wise to not gravitate to actions that result in being a SNEAK in the year ahead, for then one will miss the gifts that this year is meant to bestow upon those that take up in matters of the HEART, which reflects in further healing for our dear EARTH.

THE YEAR OF THE WATER SNAKE

AS WE SEE TO THE EARTH’S FATE, YES WE SEE AN ERA TO RENEW THE HEART AS WE ROTATE

The least competitive of all the animals (the dog enjoyed a bath along the way, while the pig decided to make sure he was full and even napped) fell into place to complete the 12 Animal Wheel.

The YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON, 2012-13

THE YEAR OF
THE WATER DRAGON

23 January 2012
to
10 February 2013

We collectively celebrate the Chinese New Year on 23 January 2012: The Year of the Dragon/Water Year. The Chinese Zodiac can lend anyone insight into their personality and natural tendencies, like our Western Zodiac can provide. Our friends in the West take their Zodiac and divide it into 12 signs as does Western Astrology, yet one animal sign influences an entire year verses one month. The intricate link in understanding the common ground of these two systems is the transits of Jupiter, which take approximately one year to transit through one Zodiac sign in the West. Here in the West it only takes that same years’ time to represent all 12 signs on our Zodiac wheel, while our friends in the East take 60 years to complete a full cycle, as each animal every 12 years is depicted through 5 different elemental years of earth, metal, water, wood, and fire.

Thinking big and promoting optimism will be rewarded in 2012, as the collective can expect this to be a time of dramatic flare, spectacular events, and an auspicious year to begin anything anew within. The energy of being bold and daring is favored to stimulate fortunate outcomes in new adventures of any kind, from business to marriage. The most outlandish, eccentric, original and different ideas will be rewarded as the months within 2012 unfold.

Now the collective experiences the 5th year within a 9 and 12-year cycle, where the seeds planted in 2008 are seeing some true blossoming and complete currents of change to eventually reap a harvest, just a couple more years further down the road. With Mercury guiding the singular 5’s energy over 2012, there is plenty of movement, risk-taking, versatility and communication to be found amongst the Dragons’ urges for the magnificent. 2012 marks the time where never seen before ideas will bring the masses together in a more unified understanding of who we are as part of the wholeness of humanity.

Grasping some true Lexigram wisdom when embracing the MAGNIFICENT plays a important role in what 2012 can hold for anyone, as we poetically phrase the anagrams we can derive from it. What joy can be found when I AM IN A FINE MAGIC GAIN IN A MAIN TIME TEAM. Or realizing I AM A ENIGMA MAGNET, INFECTING AN INFINITE ENTICING AGE. If we are to adapt smoothly to what exciting and irresistible energy the Dragon is here to share with us -especially within the added intuition of the Water Year- we are best to hone in upon our own sense of psychic ability when it comes to quick change within our lives to find our necessary answers.

All is set to come alive in our outside world and community life in a Water Dragon Year as we allow our diplomacy, compassion and idealism to tackle social situations requiring resolve. The Dragon asks that we awaken a visionary, intelligent and scrupulous instinct within ourselves. Once more under the Water influenced year, being the eye of any apparent storm is key to knowing how to handle a Dragon’s natural excessive energies. With the Dragon representing Yang Wood energy, what transpires over the year ahead brings forth profound success or failure, depending upon the genuine intention behind initiations.

The Dragon is the only Chinese animal that is from myth upon their Zodiac Wheel. However, they firmly believe that this symbol is the most powerful of all, and when one is born in a Dragon year, there is much fortune, money and luck to be found all along the life. Even in the midst of mistakes along the way, Dragons are well known to always still come out of the most pressing situations still smiling. So chin up to any 2012 gloom and doomers: while it is best to be prepared for adventurous change, wearing a SMILE will most certainly go for MILES in this Dragon Year ahead.

*Dragons & Yang Wood Energy
The external masculine represents the leading role and gravitates to activity, sociability, passion and efficiency. The symbol of wood allows for an ambivalent and dual nature to emerge. The energy of the Dragon can become unbalanced when strong emotions overtake them- turning kindness to anger, and their natural exuberance to vulnerability.

*DRAGON YEARS in History
The Dragon’s energy marks a universal time for renewal and growth within what already exists. Dreams are motivated to become reality for any new venture from a business to marriage, and seemingly, the more outlandish it may be, the greater outcome for success it will have.

The YEAR OF THE METAL RABBIT, 2011-12

THE YEAR
OF THE METAL RABBIT

03 February 2011
to
23 January 2012

We collectively celebrate the Chinese New Year on 03 February 2011: The Year of the Rabbit/Metal Year.

Diplomacy and agreement will be rewarded in 2011, as the collective can expect this to be a time of peace, settlement, sensitivity, and one where attention paid to home and family is fortunate. The energy of comparison to stimulate agreements and conciliatory measures encompasses the political landscape. Advances within the medical field, welfare reform, and the arts all take center stage as the months within 2011 unfolds.

Now the collective experiences the 4th year within a 9 and 12-year cycle, where the seeds planted in 2008 are still in their incubation to eventually reap a harvest further down the road. With Uranus guiding the singular 4’s energy over 2011, there is originality, restructuring, and innovations to be found amongst the Rabbits urges for peace. 2011 marks the time when revolutionary ideas that are accompanied with a non-violent approach will bring us to a deeper understanding of the very world we all live in.

Grasping the true wisdom behind REVOLUTION plays a wise role in securing the future. At last a real one can now begins as this word calls to us to ponder: LET LOVE RULE NOT EVIL. For when we UNTIE IT IN A TRUE LOVE ROUTINE, we will all surely adapt smoothly to what virtue and refined energy of the Rabbit -especially within the added strength of the Metal Year- ultimately requests of us all.

All is set to the cozy lairs of our home environments and family life in a Metal Rabbit Year as we allow our sensitivity to co-operate. The Rabbit asks that we awaken a fertile and mothering instinct within ourselves. Once more under the Metal influenced year, these qualities are intensified and yearn to be strengthened all the more. With the Rabbit representing Yin Wood energy, what transpires over the year ahead brings forth longevity from the actions instilled.

As the Moon is closely connected to the Chinese understanding of the Rabbit, there is a great deal of mystery and intuition marking the energies we have access to. The choices of discreet, principled, refined, and honorable decisions are intelligent and respected ones within a Metal Rabbit Year.

With the Tiger representing Yang Wood energy, we are offered opportunities to find rewards in protecting what is right, all in the fight for justice to prevail. Ideas with originality and prophecy that honor a new order are welcomed. Any dealings which embody fair and honest assessments for the benefit of all mankind flourish in the quick pulse and vibrancy of a Metal Tiger Year.

Year of the Earth Ox, 26th January 2009

EARTH OX YEAR, January 26th, 2009 to 13 February, 2010

Always upon an Aquarian New Moon here in the West, our friends in the East ring in their lunar New Year. In the legend of how the Chinese Zodiac Wheel came to be, Buddha asked the animals to come to him and the Ox was the second in line. And so we find this Universal New Year of 2009 to be the continuance of the new beginnings instilled over 2008’s cycle of the Earth Rat. The Year of the Ox, Earth Year- coupled with 2009’s singular Two vibration only means all kinds of sensitivity, nurturing and reflection are on the agenda for the year ahead.

Integrity and conservation will be rewarded in 2009, as the collective can expect this to be a time of consolidation, consistency and one where the value of money and industry will be revisited. Material prosperity is highly protected when it is acquired through the means of hard work and loyalty. Now as the collective experiences the 2nd year within a 9 and 12-year cycle, the seeds planted in the previous one will reap intense harvest further on down the road, but the 2009 Year ahead marks the time for a return to paternal instincts.

All is set to grow tranquil and steady in an Earth Ox Year as we build upon another new cycle, encouraging us to continue to embrace the new beginnings we were introduced to in 2008. Even though we are amidst not so happy financial times on multitudes of levels- remember we are meant to be re-evaluating our value towards money in this reflective year. The Ox represents a Yin Water energy, one that offers opportunities to find rewards in solid markets, backed by intelligence. Risky investments are cast off in such a year where return to tradition and a sense of classicism thrive.

Those who will turn the ages of 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 82, 94, 106- (and so on!) this year, are native Ox’s and will experience from their Chinese Zodiac perspective, an “Ox Return.” Every 12 years our Chinese animals are represented by 5 different elements, pointing to where auspicious occasions will arise over a complete 60 year cycle. This same animal return year also links up with Jupiter’s cycles here in the West, where the planet of luck simultaneously blesses one with luck and optimism over the year. Your animal year typically will match-up with your Jupiter Return in the West’s birth chart.

Be on the look-out for the Ox in 2009 whenever you see an enduring and resolute spirit. These natives are strong, enjoy efficiency, take responsibility, have determination, love fighting for the status quo, find common sense solutions, and prefer secure pursuits to obtain familiar and safe results. Their external character is seen in the Yin, the feminine energy representing the passive force that naturally understands the emptiness and negativity of life. Even more emotional ability is granted to this Water animal in which the inner process is equally the feminine perspective that nurtures through quiet restraint and diplomacy.

Depending upon that element that guides any animals’ year of birth, more insight is available to add to the depth of character that makes up their innate nature. Par example of an Ox we are all too familiar with these days, is the USA’s 44th President Barack Obama, born in a Metal Year of the Ox. Any metal born animal strengthens their element, therefore a Water Ox is all the more hardworking, self-sufficient, resourceful and intuitive.

Let’s tune into more reasons why reflection is upon us, with this Universal 2009 reducing to the singular Two. The numerical guidance of the 2 + 9 =11, which numerically the Chaldeans understood to be, ‘A Lion Muzzled – A Clenched Fist,’ lends some of the following ancient advice: “It represents two opposed situations where compatibility of interest is lacking, and interference from a third force must be conquered. Difficulties may also arise from the illusion of separation. It’s necessary to unite divided goals to avoid a sense of frustrated incompletion. The origin of the separating force must be identified, an attempt made to seek compromise. Occasionally, conflicting desires within one’s own self are seen as in a reflecting mirror. Yet, each must remain individual, even after being joined, for each possesses its own worth.”

Thus we are in the perfect numerical match for Earth Year of the Ox. When we hone in on hard work and reliability while honoring the home and family, one is bound to redeem security-oriented rewards. This Earth Year coupled with a 11/2 Universal Year requests the same traditional values, co-operation, practical energy, and foresight within the 9 to 12 yr cycles, be adhered to.

Look to more signs of adhering common sense to the progress of the job and housing markets throughout 2009. As Saturn currently Retrogrades in discriminating Virgo until 16 May, expect further restructuring in both of these sectors. As Saturn goes Direct, the peak of the “bottoming out” will have occurred. Expect around the time when Saturn enters co-operative and balancing Libra upon the 29 October, these will be the first markets to be on the slow up swing once again.

Your own Western Astrological current transits and Numerological cycles are where you can find the necessary formula to take in the abundance within this Earth Ox Two year. Being aware of the lucky link of Jupiter to the East’s animal years -where Aquarius is currently transiting in your natal Western Chart- tells where to be on the look out for positive change this year. Couple this with your current Personal Year’s guidance and you’ll know exactly where to optimally bring the energy guiding your soul to a place of calm, allowing resolve and co-operation with others to bloom.

In as much as we do belong to a period in history that is speeding up faster and faster, bear in mind that the planets move no quicker today that they did 10,000 years ago. Check history and you’ll certainly find validation that the planets have always offered our ancestors the knowledge to unlock the magical wisdom they possess. It remains here for all of us to benefit from. May we never forget to take the planets into account to not only better understand ourselves, but to innately affirm and filter what we hear surrounds us from the world at large.

May your Earth Ox Year and 2009 bless you with a plenty of cherished re-evaluations, persistence, and steady growth resulting in classic moments that only can be measured in your heart.

The Year of the Rat, Earth Year 2008

February 7, 2008 to January 25th, 2009

Always upon an Aquarian New Moon here in the West, our friends in the East ring in their New Year. In the legend of how the Chinese Zodiac Wheel came to be, Buddha asked the animals to come to him and the Rat was the first in line. And so we find this Universal New Year of 2008 to be at the very start of a brand new cycle in multitudes of ways from the planetary heavens above. The Year of the Rat, Earth Year coupled with 2008’s singular One vibration only means all kinds of initiations and new beginnings are at an all time high to flourish.

In this spirited and engaging year ahead, the collective can expect this to be a time of pragmatism, forethought and self-will. Material prosperity is highly protected when it is acquired through the means of integrity and hard work over the course of how 2008 is to unfold. Think of the years to follow in 9 and 12-year cycles, where the seeds planted in this one will reap harvest further on down the road.

All is set to rise in a Rat Earth Year as we kick off another new cycle, encouraging us to face new beginnings. Even after 2007’s not so happy financial affairs that occurred on all sorts of levels, a feel good factor returns as market economies take an up-turn as the year progresses. When one turns to an open mind while taking a fresh look at the world, all kinds of new ventures can prosper when accompanied with the energies of optimism and belief. Discoveries and inventions are especially prevalent and easily have the ability to be unleashed with the end result of success.

Those who will turn the ages of 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 82, 94, 106- (and so on!) this year, are in from their Chinese Zodiac perspective, a “Rat Return.” Every 12 years our Chinese animals are represented by a different element, pointing to where auspicious occasions will arise. This same animal return year also links up with Jupiter’s cycles here in the West, where the planet of luck simultaneously blesses one with fortune and optimism over the year. Your animal year typically will link up with your Jupiter Return in the West’s birth chart.

In further alignment of how the East and West perspectives connect, it takes 60 years for the Chinese Wheel to complete an entire cycle as we see the return to the exact elemental year one was born in as that animal. This same 60-year marks in the West the 2nd Saturn Return, where significant changes occur in the life like never before. The Chinese believe one’s greatest wisdom begins to unfold as one full cycle of their wheel concludes. Saturn wholeheartedly agrees the 2nd Return also releases the soul into the greatest period of self-expression and inner power after a many life lesson have now been learned.

Be on the look-out for the Rat in 2008 whenever you see an enterprising spirit. These natives are generous, enjoy creating opportunities, take gambles, have a variety of acquaintances, love being the explorer and the pioneer, find clever solutions, and prefer mental pursuits over physical labors. Their external character is seen in the Yang, the male energy representing the life force and taking the initiative. Yet the perfect balance is granted to this Water animal in which the inner process is the feminine perspective that nurtures through quiet restraint and diplomacy. Depending upon the element that guides their year of birth, more insight is available to add to the depth of character that makes up their innate nature.

Let’s tune into more reasons new beginnings are upon us, with this Universal 2008 reducing to the singular One. The numerical guidance of the 2 + 8 =10, which the Chaldeans understood to be, ‘The Wheel of Fortune,’ lends the following ancient advice: “A number of rise and fall, according to personal desire. Every event is self-determined. 10 is the symbol of LOve and LIght, which create all that can be imagined, and also contains the code: Image 10 Ordain. Image it and it shall be. Ordain it and it will materialize. The power for manifesting creative concepts into reality is inherent, but must be used with wisdom, since the power for absolute creation contains the polarity power for absolute destruction. Self-discipline and infinite compassion must accompany the gift of the former to avoid the tragedy of the latter. Discipline must proceed Dominion.”

Thus we are in the ideal numerical match for Earth Year of the Rat. When we hone in on responsibility and wisdom with a twist of imagination, one is bound to redeem prosperous rewards from the seeds planted. This Earth Year coupled with a 10/1 Universal Year requests that solid values, reliability, grounded energy, foresight to the 9 to the 12 yr cycles, be adhered to. By applying focus and organization the harvest will be rich, but if the intention of greed is part of the plan, as the 10 so highly warns, the potential for absolute destruction can occur.

Looking to more signs of adhering to practicality and wisdom from our Western Influences, Pluto, the planet of change and regeneration, begins a 16 yr. period in Capricorn stimulating organization and matter relating to the progress of government. Jupiter accompanies Pluto in Capricorn to start this long-term passage off that brings in new wave of conservative thinking. The collective will begin to return to traditional values concerning education, morality and the law over the years to unfold.

This planetary combo brings swirls of change to political thinking on a global level. Serious movements begin toward the orientation and foundation of an innovative system of government that joins the world together into one system. If you already know about the National ID Card here in the United States, we are at the very beginning of this kind of change. It is obvious the world wide web keeps increasing in its’ utilization for almost everything one does, along with all those handy devices that keep us in the know of what’s occurring half-way around the world in a moments notice. As much as we are seemingly separate, the unity of our purchasing power and knowledge of our whereabouts is closer than ever before.

Looking to your own Western Astrological current transits and Numerological cycles one can find the necessary formula to take in the abundance within this Earth Rat One year. Following your own light in life allows you to manifest your own personal rewards. No matter where you are in your current 9 Year cycle and astrological transits, look to this year to optimally bring the energy guiding your soul to the greatest heights, so that the one to follow will prosper all the more. In as much as we do belong to a society that is speeding up faster than the average person can keep up with, bear in mind that the planets move no faster today that they did 10,000 years ago. Check history and you’ll certainly find validation that the planets have always offered our ancestors the knowledge to unlock the magical wisdom they possess. It is still here for all to benefit from. Let us never forget to take the planets into account so we can not only better understand ourselves, but to equally grasp what’s cooking in that great big world out there around us as well.

May your Rat Earth Year and 2008 bless you with a plenty of prosperous initiations, self-will, and foresight resulting in riches that can truly be measured in your heart.
