The Epic Peace of Rock Paper Scissors

If you are a Sting or Peter Gabriel fan, Summer 2016 has been your chance to catch this epic pair making magic together. Long before the honor of attending ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ at Madison Square Garden 27 June, I had a feeling that went beyond the stars of the kind of genuine treat I was in for.

Looking to these brilliant musician’s names and birthdays through the eyes of astrology, numerology, and a lesser known way to spell out the truth in life called lexigrams- there is so much validity to back up why this pairing was going to be a delight of musical musing any genuine fan wouldn’t want to miss.

What I found to be funny before the tour kicked off in June, was the Peter Gabriel fans “baulking” of Peter’s choice to team up with Sting that I witnessed shooting off on various social media sites. I happen to be a fan of both musicians for the majority of my life, but I knew there was a way the moon and the stars above could validate their cooperative force would be once again, simply beyond and yes: epic.

While anyone in attendance would undoubtedly describe the show as a definitely healing experience, I knew from the combination of a Libra 2 (Sting, 02 October), and an Aquarius 13/4 (Gabriel, 13 February), there would be an amazing intellectual grace and innovation that would be part of the journey of experiencing their music together.

Libra is the cardinal leadership of the element of air- always representing balance in life through the symbol of The Scales. Sting is more than an eloquent example of a musician who takes the lead through intellectual means, as air signs always tend to work wonders from the mind. A innate nurturer as well through his karmic path of the 2- his imagination is what works in stunning ways to cut right through to the emotions needing to be addressed as you look at the history of his music, especially more so as his solo career emerged after The Police.

Aquarius is the organized state of the element of air- always representing what needs to be original in life through the symbol of The Water Bearer. Gabriel is equally an ideal example of a break through musician who has innovatively brought new life to the music scene, allowing us to think outside of the box or simply without one. What’s in the Stars for Eric Clapton, 2016-17

Happy New Year and 71st to Aries Superstar Eric Clapton.

With a new foundation in place that leveraged all of 2015-16’s blossoming changes in a 5 Personal Year, the year ahead looks to be one that brings in more harmony that we all have learned to expect from the Stellar Slowhand guitar great.

It’s been a whirlwind of changes over the past year during 2015-16. Life promises to move forward in a continuous stream from what Clapton ultimately began at the beginning of his current 9 year span back in 2011, during his last 1 Personal Year, when a many new seeds where once again planted in his life.

Looking back into history a bit, like other 3 musicians such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, (03 October), 30/3 birthdate Clapton innately has followed his karmic path that deeply understands things in 3.

We have all obviously seen this be displayed as he has related his natural understanding of rhythm through music. Claiming his true Aries gift of leadership, he is recognized as one of the most influential guitarists of all time. He is the only 3 time inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: as a solo artist, as well as with his bands The Yardbirds and Cream.

Equally like guitar great Stevie, Eric battled with drug and alcohol addictions. He has successfully overcome them.

As a 25/7 Personal Year of healing, inner work and solace was coming to a close in January 1982, in his 8 Personal Month of taking responsibility, he checked into rehab and faced his darkest fear of becoming sober. One has to absolutely commend Clapton for remaining strong and utilizing his courage, qualities his Aries Sun sign grants his free will to choose from. There is no question that a recovering addict’s toughest moments are when extreme life challenges cycle into their experiences. Congratulations Eric for staying true to what really matters: you. Many others in your field are not here with us today to be able to say the same thing.

Looking forward, it still remains a secret as to what anyone can expect as to who are the“superstar surprise special guests” at the upcoming 40th Anniversary celebration of The Last Waltz in New Orleans, 29 and 30 April. Fans can only hope he will be one of them.

As the anticipated epic 40 year celebration of The Band’s The Last Waltz aligns upon these dates (equally under the cycle of reflection and going back to what already exists -which will be in play- called Mercury Retrograde), it surely would be a stellar opportunity for new beginnings on an old theme. Clapton is currently not touring, so everyone will just have to wait and see.

What’s Really in a Word? Soulmates

It’s that annual time of the year when one of a few possibilities are more than likely happening for any individual. What’s Really in a Word? Mercury Retrograde

We are taking a “detour” from our normal chain of word pondering to place our attention upon astrology’s recurring cycle of MERCURY RETROGRADE.

Who is Mercury & What Happens Under Retrograde?
This is an astrological cycle in time that asks us to carefully consider our choices for the future- preferring that we take time to rest, reroute, reboot, and recharge as best we can during it’s passage.

Being Mercury is an inner planet, its’ retrograde affects are felt more intensely than what our outer planet retrograde cycles unfold. Mercury is known as our Messenger, the planet that guides all of our thinking, mentality, communicating, and anything that involves movement within our lives.

When Mercury is retrograde, he is equally known as “The Trickster” when we tend to naturally see our courses of action involving flux, change, and oddities surrounding them during this transit that asks for pause verses forward motion. Human error is also known to be at its’ highest under this transit.
