If you are a Sting or Peter Gabriel fan, Summer 2016 has been your chance to catch this epic pair making magic together. Long before the honor of attending ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ at Madison Square Garden 27 June, I had a feeling that went beyond the stars of the kind of genuine treat I was in for.
Looking to these brilliant musician’s names and birthdays through the eyes of astrology, numerology, and a lesser known way to spell out the truth in life called lexigrams- there is so much validity to back up why this pairing was going to be a delight of musical musing any genuine fan wouldn’t want to miss.
What I found to be funny before the tour kicked off in June, was the Peter Gabriel fans “baulking” of Peter’s choice to team up with Sting that I witnessed shooting off on various social media sites. I happen to be a fan of both musicians for the majority of my life, but I knew there was a way the moon and the stars above could validate their cooperative force would be once again, simply beyond and yes: epic.
While anyone in attendance would undoubtedly describe the show as a definitely healing experience, I knew from the combination of a Libra 2 (Sting, 02 October), and an Aquarius 13/4 (Gabriel, 13 February), there would be an amazing intellectual grace and innovation that would be part of the journey of experiencing their music together.
Libra is the cardinal leadership of the element of air- always representing balance in life through the symbol of The Scales. Sting is more than an eloquent example of a musician who takes the lead through intellectual means, as air signs always tend to work wonders from the mind. A innate nurturer as well through his karmic path of the 2- his imagination is what works in stunning ways to cut right through to the emotions needing to be addressed as you look at the history of his music, especially more so as his solo career emerged after The Police.
Aquarius is the organized state of the element of air- always representing what needs to be original in life through the symbol of The Water Bearer. Gabriel is equally an ideal example of a break through musician who has innovatively brought new life to the music scene, allowing us to think outside of the box or simply without one. Coupled with his 13/4 karmic path, the inventor channel is extra strong within him, as the 13 represents ‘Regeneration –Change’ and is considered in Chaldean Numerology to be the number than is far from unlucky, but rather represents pure genius.
What one also has to admire is the complete compatibility of Sting and Gabriel’s natal birth charts. Should anyone question why these two on their own path have only risen to the top of the music scene with equally successful careers, look no further than the fact they both possess Leo Ascendants/Rising Signs, and both possess the powerful position of transformational Pluto in Leo within these areas of their lives.
Now how could two musicians with Leo Ascendants combined with equal potent placements of Pluto share the same stage? If you have even a little background in astrology, you might know already that Leo energy typically likes to shine in the spotlight solo verses let anyone join them in their territory. Pluto is always searching for ultimate control. Yet, not one ounce of competition, “I’m better than you” nor “get off my turf” was sounding off from the Madison Square Garden stage.
In the case of Sting, you have a Libra, the sign as well of relationships, who innately loves sharing understanding with people. Equally with his natal Libra Sun placed in the Gemini house (3rd House in the birth chart), the other sign that guides the basis of relating to others in life. The ideas that generated between how they revisited and ultimately recreated the other one’s music definitely where genius.
In the case of Gabriel, you have an Aquarius, the sign of friendships, who is more than happy to welcome upon his stage, his equally native British friend Sting. Equally with his natal Aquarius Sun placed in the Libra house (7th House in the birth chart), Gabriel is also innately gifted in understanding how to work cooperatively with others as his Aquarius and 13 genius streams and channels from his mind.
Astrology has another gem tool that examines relationships called a composite chart. Lending further evidence of how they so gracefully served the innovative and intellectual stage back and forth to one another, is how their combination reveals a Sun in Sagittarius, which is exactly where it needs to be in a compatibility chart to be able to create effectively together- is right in the composite chart’s 5th house of creativity. Equally, to affirm further of the healing affect of the concert, this composite charts has not only the Sun in the 5th House, but it’s Chiron (clearing of past wounds, karmic healing) in close conjunction to it.
Check out the 27 June MSG set list and anyone can plainly see how very much the concert tour’s title alone equally depicted the playfulness of how ingenious cooperation between Gabriel and Sting would magically unfold.
Granted this blog could seemingly go on forever in the “whys” of the compatible richness between Sting and Gabriel –I definitely know one doesn’t have time for that anymore in our modern day world- so anyone can feel free to write me or comment below and we can continue the star approved discussion.
In closing, the tour name ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ also lends some interesting insight to take into consideration as we look at its’ Lexigrams. Our words, names and titles in life have an uncanny ability to be able to spell out the truth concerning them from their letters that compose how very much ‘It’s All in the Name.’
