Venus REtrograde, 06 March – 17 April

On 06 March our placid and harmonious planet Venus enters retrograde motion at 15 degrees Aries and returns to direct motion at 29 degrees Pisces on 17 April. If you haven’t scheduled some downtime this winter, Stars, now’s the perfect moment to truly dive into that Spring-cleaning- as Venus enters a 42-day retrograde period. Since the collective’s expressions of affection will tend to be shy and less pronounced, it is the perfect time to go within and reassess in the area of life she visits for you personally.

However… antique purchases, donations and scooping up the bargains you may find are totally Venus-approved!

Remembering GEORGE Harrison

If George Harrison chose not to pursue music, one could definitely say music as we know today would not be exactly what it is. Born to a 25 Karmic Path Pisces Sun in 1943, Neptune’s influence over both his sun sign and karmic path granted Harrison the innate ability to channel and create the music which has become eternal today. Take a Pisces and place their sun in the 5th house of creativity, and a most insatiable desire to manifest artistic creation from within is bound to happen.

And so it did happen for George, starting with The Beatles. Within a Masterful 33/6 Personal Year at the young age of 16- while working as an apprentice electrician (an equally fitting way for him to utilize his soul’s talent for accessing details)- he left school and began his journey that would take him to celebrity status when The Beatles where still known as The Quarrymen.

By 1963, in Harrison’s 28/1 Personal Year of initiations and the start of a brand new 9 yr. cycle, The Beatles had achieved success and the infamous “Beatlemania” had begun.

It may only be the 5th Birthday Facebook is celebrating, but as it now enters a 17/8 Personal Year it will be one of the greatest yet. In the know of how any entity is flowing in their current 1-9 yr cycle, the 8 marks a year of harvest, recognition and reaping of rewards.

Year of the Earth Ox, 26th January 2009

EARTH OX YEAR, January 26th, 2009 to 13 February, 2010

Always upon an Aquarian New Moon here in the West, our friends in the East ring in their lunar New Year. In the legend of how the Chinese Zodiac Wheel came to be, Buddha asked the animals to come to him and the Ox was the second in line. And so we find this Universal New Year of 2009 to be the continuance of the new beginnings instilled over 2008’s cycle of the Earth Rat. The Year of the Ox, Earth Year- coupled with 2009’s singular Two vibration only means all kinds of sensitivity, nurturing and reflection are on the agenda for the year ahead.

Integrity and conservation will be rewarded in 2009, as the collective can expect this to be a time of consolidation, consistency and one where the value of money and industry will be revisited. Material prosperity is highly protected when it is acquired through the means of hard work and loyalty. Now as the collective experiences the 2nd year within a 9 and 12-year cycle, the seeds planted in the previous one will reap intense harvest further on down the road, but the 2009 Year ahead marks the time for a return to paternal instincts.

All is set to grow tranquil and steady in an Earth Ox Year as we build upon another new cycle, encouraging us to continue to embrace the new beginnings we were introduced to in 2008. Remembering Dr. King

Eighty-four years ago in 1929, Dr. King was born upon January 15th. Originally named Michael Luther King, he came down to 28 Lifepath, with the Chaldean Karmic Mystery of “The Trusting Lamb.” As one walks along a 28 lifepath, there are incredible achievements and responsibility given to the person. The 28 asks that careful planning be adhered to secure what one has gained. One is highly advised to be watchful of trusting the wrong people, as intense resistance can occur in career or business matters over the entire course of the life.

Think the Zodiac Heavens just affect us humans? Au contraire…

Whatever we start or initiate in life can be analyzed through that exact moment of “birth” by examining the planetary photograph that is taken of the Zodiac sky above. The 2nd major travel disturbance involving planes in a week, Mercury’s current Retrograde in Aquarius is amidst its’ own sense of turbulence. Everywhere one may look at present is bearing witness to these usual delays, sudden changes and inconveniences in various methods of transportation.

Yet, not everything Mercury stirs up is meant to cause such impending disasters while it is in Retrograde. So just how did some geese end up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, seemingly not looking where they were going? As much as Mercury’s tricks are causing flux in Aquarius, the planet of fortune, wisdom and luck Jupiter, has just entered the sign that loves humanity. Undoubtedly it is these two planet’s proximity right now that eased Flight 1549’s life threatening change of plans to conclude with a miraculous happy ending.

Mercury is WHAAAAT? Retrograding? What on earth… Now, obviously this can be explained a little more clearly. Those planets that orbit around in that big Universe out there do this “thing” periodically, where they just so happen to want to move backwards. In knowing how the energy of planets cast their great affect upon us all, one might suspect that this “retrograde backwards thing” might just cause some interesting upsets in our lives.

Retrograde: Any planet’s reverse movement which results in an opposite direction to that of the Earth’s orbit around the Sun, or of the Moon around the Earth.

So when in Retrograde, a planet’s channel is what one might say is well…a little off in the optimal guidance it can bring. In such cases as Mercury’s Retrograde motion, this period occurs three times every calendar year. Now with a planet like fast moving and talking Mercury, one can only begin to imagine the multitudes of circumstances that could become a slight eschewed when the channel of The Messenger is not looking where he is going.

Keep in mind that Mercury is one of the inner planets and travels within its’ orbit very close to the Sun. Therefore, when in Retrograde, the collective (that means all of us people here on EARTH who have a HEART) typically sees it’s fair share of mishaps and misunderstandings. Compared to other outer planets that retrograde, Mercury’s proximity to the Sun allows for that “off energy” to throw the world in more flux than normal.

Yet, with awareness, no one has to get caught up in what is known as the Messenger’s “tricks” over his roughly 3 and a half week rearrangement fest. Huge rule of thumb during Mercury Retrograde is not to rush and leave plenty of time when going places.

Forms of travel are always caught in delays at this time. Really helpful over this time is to avoid “freaking out” because your flight got moved back 2 hrs or you didn’t make the light. Take a slow approach and work on relaxing in the midst of a busy day.

Easier said than done when what you will be seeing is people getting irritated because they react to the sudden changes going on. What to WATCH for in 2009: SIGN SHOW!

There’s a new dating show out there in 2009. This one is headed for widespread notable appeal as its’ unique main theme of astrological compatibility grants it an irresistible twist. I had the distinct pleasure of recently meeting one of the masterminds behind the up and coming Sign Show, Mr. Zach Webster. Now even though he says, politeness and manners aren’t that important to him being a Virgo, I can surely attest that he possesses these qualities amongst the brilliant leadership his 27 Karmic Path ensures.

Mr. Webster undoubtedly displayed the ability to communicate as a placid ‘Virgin,’ yet there wasn’t an ounce of the typical shyness that can accompany this service-oriented Zodiac sign. The 44th President of the United States

As much as forecasting is a brilliant tool, it is never to be misused in private consultation or advice to the collective. There is no question that the planetary skies pointed heavily to the final outcome of the McCain vs. Obama road to the Whitehouse. Yet, one who holds this knowledge in such cases as these, where the collective has free will and choice to vote, must not use it to any kind of advantage, as was clearly stated in our previous blog entry. So, without further delay, let us now openly explore the astrological and numerological evidence as to why Barack Hussein Obama has just been historically voted the 44th President of the United States.


Let’s start with how numbers in the birthdate data can simply demonstrate the energies one is bound to see year to year within the spin of 1-9, the Personal Year Cycle. McCain just entered upon his birthday in August, an emotional 2 Personal Year cycle- the very same numerical energy as his karmic path (calendar day of birth), the 29, Grace Under Pressure. The 29 urges anyone influenced by it to be charitable. Yet the most pressing astrological aspect is the fall of the currently transiting Saturn in Virgo to McCain’s natal Saturn in Pisces, while the current Uranus in Pisces is conjunct this natal planet. Saturn sits in McCain’s chart in his 6th house, the one that denotes how one is of service to the world and the state of health. So, as the current transiting Saturn is in direct opposition in the 12th House of the Subconscious Process, there is something deeper that McCain is meant to be adhering to at present, beyond the service to America at large. As our planets above grant us the ability to forecast the future, the most frequent question Sharita’s Star Secrets has been asked lately is, Do you know WHO will be the next President of the United States? Without a doubt, there are plenty of astrological and numerological indications that point to the answer of this pressing question. Yet, if this answer was revealed before Election Day, how many then would exercise the very right we do have of choice, the one to VOTE?!


In the know the United States can be analyzed in the same fashion as any given person- what can be seen is the potential energies that the collective whole of the US will see positively or negatively unfold. In the end, for any person or entity, the choices made then flow from these very energies that are encompassing the here and now. Upon Election Day, the United States finds itself in a 21/3 Personal Year, a 5 Personal Month, marking November 4th as a 9 Personal Day.


WHAT does all this mean, one may ask? As we now circulate within the 3rd year of a current 9 year cycle that the US is experiencing, we are optimally meant to see expansion, re-education, and a return to idealism as a nation. November is guided by the 5’s request for permanent change, major movement and intense communication amongst the masses. November 4th falls as a 9 Personal Day, telling us we can collectively expect to see some sort of ending, finalization and conclusion. By the numbers alone, are we starting to make some sense?


The United States also has a birth chart like any individual person does. As we look to how some of the key outer planetary energy is swirling around the US’s natal chart through current transits- we can see a many more insights pointing to the changes our nation is in the midst of experiencing. This planet governing over deep transformation as well as death and rebirth denotes that the world is changing their very view of us, while we equally appear different as a nation. Astrology watches Saturn move in his approximate 2 yr visits through the Zodiac, as a planet that prefers discipline and responsibility to be applied whichever area of life he is. Since the Fall of 2007, Saturn in Virgo is currently in the opposing 9th House (the one that is the outward expression of our thinking) of Higher Education/Expansion/Idealism of the US- requesting us to truly reassess these attributes, and bring tradition back to them. Every 28 or so years Saturn returns to the natal point within the birthchart, and by the Fall of 2009, we will be experiencing a Saturn Return within America, as Saturn enters Libra. These couple of years to follow will further bring us to an awakening and by July 2010 as the US enters into a 5 Personal Year, get ready for even more massive permanent change like never before.


This current opposition of Uranus and Saturn falls directly 3 times over the next year while in the signs of Pisces and Virgo, respectively- oddly enough the first at 18 degrees upon Election Day, November 4th, at 8:35am. We will then see another at 20 degrees February 5, 2009, and the final direct opposition upon September 15, 2009 at 24 degrees. Uranus and Saturn in this position to one another always tells us there is a collapse of structure, while a door opens to the unexpected to bring on an original change, one that is necessary to move forward optimally. Saturn may include some lessons to be learned along the way, if one has not adhered to integrity in their actions.


As we urgently see Barack Obama and John McCain racing to the finish line of their contest to become the 44th President of the United States, there is one thing for certain in the outcome the nation will see upon November 4th. The candidate to be victorious is the one that the Universe innately knows: will transform the world’s view of us back to a healthy view while we take our approaches to a higher level; bring positive change to our thinking; and take that to a new idealism that optimally expands and educates us as a whole. As sure as the soul of the US is made up of each and every one of us residing here in these great United States of America, the choice is, as it has always been, now up to you.
