“The Beatles exist apart from my Self.
I am not really Beatle George. Beatle George
is like a suit or shirt that I once wore on
occasion and until the end of my life people
may see that shirt and mistake it for me.”

If George Harrison chose not to pursue music, one could definitely say music as we know today would not be exactly what it is. Born to a 25 Karmic Path Pisces Sun in 1943, Neptune’s influence over both his sun sign and karmic path granted Harrison the innate ability to channel and create the music which has become eternal today. Take a Pisces and place their sun in the 5th house of creativity, and a most insatiable desire to manifest artistic creation from within is bound to happen. And so it did happen for George, starting with The Beatles. Within a Masterful 33/6 Personal Year at the young age of 16- while working as an apprentice electrician (an equally fitting way for him to utilize his soul’s talent for accessing details)- he left school and began his journey that would take him to celebrity status when The Beatles where still known as The Quarrymen.By 1963, in Harrison’s 28/1 Personal Year of initiations and the start of a brand new 9 yr. cycle, The Beatles had achieved success and the infamous “Beatlemania” had begun.Pisces are always known as “the fish that keeps on swimming,” and in Harrison’s case with being a 25 Karmic Path, this is especially so. Not only was he known as “the quiet Beatle,” there was a quality within him that enjoyed his solitude and surely sought life beyond the fame and celebrity that touring with a band involved. In a 9 Personal Month upon 04 January, 1970, Harrison recorded his last session as a Beatle.
“I began to write more songs when I had more time,
especially when we began to stop touring.
Having Indian things so much in my head
it was bound to come out.”

1970 marked Harrison’s 26/8 Personal Year of recognition, gains, and harvest, and this was not to be received as part of the struggles he had always felt as a Beatle. His release of ‘All Things Must Pass’ undoubtedly proved he was meant to shine in his own spotlight, when it reached Platinum status in the USA alone. By the following 27/9 Personal Year of momentous occasions, finalizations and endings, Harrison organized a charity event. The Concert for Bangladesh, attracted over 40,000 people for two sold-out shows at the notable Madison Square Garden.
“Try to realize it’s all within yourself no one else can
make you change, and to see you’re only very small
and life flows on within you and without you.”

Harrison’s years to follow were equally filled with all kinds of musical and artistic adventures, including Neptune’s love film and cinema. He created his own film production and distribution company, Handmade Films, in 1978, within a 34/7 Personal Year. Yet it wasn’t until his next 37/1 Personal Year in 1981 that the company started it’s first film, Time Bandits.Harrison’s Piscean 25 soul was always following a 26/8 Lifepath, one that requests, wisdom, responsibility, stability and learning from experience. This surely explains why this spiritually driven Pisces gravitated to Hinduism and sought to spread its’ message to others through his work.
“There’s high, and there’s high, and to get really high –
I mean so high that you can walk on the water,
that high – that’s where I’m going.”

The world came together in incredible sadness upon 29 November, 2001 when George Harrison passed away at the young age of 58 from lung cancer. It is unfortunate to know Harrison was a heavy smoker, for his Saturn in Gemini, the sign which directly rules the lungs, highly warned him to protect this part of his body.
We undeniably miss you George. But as the Lexigrams from your name as well tell the eternal tale of the gifts you have left to us in this life, you really weren’t meant to age at all.
