2026 Mercury Retrogrades: Cycles of Reflection

As we look to our regular Mercury Retrograde (MRx) passages (which always occur about three times during any given year) we have additional timeframes to be acutely aware of within 2026 due to one Eclipse Season and another inner planet cycle of reflection of Venus Retrograde coupled with the preparation Approach to Mars Retrograde that will intertwine along with them.

We gratefully enter 2026 under no inner planet Retrograde Cycle nor Mercury Retrograde activity, unlike what 2025 granted us entering it during our last Mars Retrograde.

Understanding Mercury Retrograde and what it actually is meant to positively do for anyone is wise timing is everything wisdom to always take into consideration for our planning and scheduling needs. These recurring astrological cycles are mistakenly overly associated with fear and frustration, which absolutely is not the reaction we are ever meant to have with them.

The only reasons Mercury Retrogrades “trip up” anyone is that:

One: most people are unaware it is in affect because they have never been introduced to the value of astrology, and naively choose to make initiations for intended long term success during them.

Two: those who are aware of it are fooled into believing they should fear it every time is comes back around because they are simply misinformed.

As we cross into 2026, our collective energies shift from 9 back in to A 10 Universal Year, guided by the root of 1, marking a brand new 9 year span of time for humanity and our collective experience. 2025 as A 9 Universal Year, most certainly prepared us well as it channeled The Year of The Observant Warrior, definitively offering up clearance, conclusions and finalizations all across the globe.

What is now vibrationally offered to us in our Universal New Year of 2026, places all of what we were asked to consciously adhere to in 2025 -as a dynamic and riveting cycle of endings and conclusive experiences- to have the clearance and proper space now prepared for us to welcome “what’s new” within our soul work practices.
