As we experience Winter 2027 emerging into Spring 2027, another ultimate request to honor reflection like humanity has never quite experienced before will be highly activated.

Unlike his close inner planet neighbor Mercury, it’s been awhile since The Pioneer planet took some necessary “time off.” Mars Retrograde cycles of reflection always demand our conscious attention to navigate them properly by choosing to first and foremost, be staying in our own lane.

Our very last Mars Retrograde cycled in reflection within the signs of Leo/Cancer, 06 December 2024 to 23 February 2025 asking us to honor the soul homework of getting in to the HEART of the home and family matters here upon EARTH.

Prior to that, Mars’s mindful calling in reflection requests was within the sign of Gemini, 20 October 2022 to 12 January 2023 seeking for us to honor the soul homework to UNITE the UNTIE.

The very 1st Mars Retrograde of our current decade was in the riveting in reflection requests within the sign of Aries, 09 September to 13 November 2020 seeking for us to take genuine stock of the self and our means of understanding our human need for independence.

04 November 2026 starts the preparation Approach process for the 4th passage of reflection within our 2020’s decade from Mars that further upgrades the need for retreat and our conscious abilities to pay extremely close review and redo attention within Virgo and Leo.

Upon 10 January 2027 stationed at 10 degrees Virgo: Mars commences the next riveting cycle of reflection until 01 April 2027, stationed by then at 20 degrees Leo.

As its’ preparation Approach begins 04 November 2026 at 20 degrees Leo it then takes the natural time until 01 April 2027 to move back to this very same 20 degrees point in Leo once Mars starts to Retrograde stationed at 10 degrees Virgo upon 10 January 2027.

These next intensely reflective forces from Mars will be engaged within two different signs.

In Virgo from 10 January to 21 February 2027 Reflection will distinctly call moving from 10 to 0 degrees within the mutable communication sign of being of service, scrutinizing details, hygiene, physical health, need for order, purity, the journey of perfection, matters of lifestyle/habits/routines and all exchanges of correcting errors energies that are favored by The Virgin.

In Leo from 21 February until 01 April 2027 Reflection will distinctly call moving from 29 to 20 degrees within the fixed fire organization sign of creative self-expression, loyalty, the heart of the matter, protection, children, manifestation, dignity and all exchanges of inspiration and faith energies that are favored by The Lion.

If you are familiar with Mercury Retrograde, you already understand all too well the kinds of “out of sorts things” that naturally tend to happen under an inner planet retrograde cycle.

What makes a Mars Retrograde different from a Mercury Retrograde?

Let’s just clue you in a little bit: it naturally takes what Mercury Retrograde does highly advising to forget about the future and amplifies it tenfold so we can get on with the past in already in existence matter requiring our reflective practices concerning them.

All of our planets from above guide over different energetic themes and concepts as their movement affects our lives down here below. No matter what planet is in retrograde activity, it is always considered an important cycle of reflection to understand must be honored with in the life, especially when it is an inner planet of Mars, Mercury or Venus.

Mercury energetically allows us to engage with movement, travel, communication, information and all exchanges of it, permanent changes, blossoming, thinking and circulation of our mentality and mindsets.

Mars energetically allows us to engage with taking action, being courageous, managing our anger, finding motivated, arriving at conclusions, making life happen, honoring our willful force, defending our freedom/truth, and working with our natural strengths and desires.

Once again being both Mars and Mercury are inner planets, their Retrograde passages occur (Mercury every 3 months; Mars every 23 months; approximately) we are highly advised to take reflective note about our future plans -whether personal or business wise- concerning what sign’s energetics they are calling from. We are asked to take greater pause, research and review for our best outcomes. The key rule of thumb always highly advises to avoid initiating plans during retrograde passages concerning any intention for future success and fulfillment.

Retrogrades cycle in our lives to focus our time management upon what already exists for rightful resolve.

Overall, the energy of a Mars Retrograde makes our reflecting experiences under Mercury Retrograde “look easy” because  the intensity of Mars casts off a much more conflicting and aggressive energy when not navigated consciously.

Whatever plans one may have to embark upon new adventures, they will find these are interlaced with extreme delays and completely riddled in errors. Once the Mars is Direct, the corrective Shadow passage tends to unwind the reality check, and soon enough, display the original ill-timed sparks of initiation have not ever gained proper momentum as they fizzle out their flames that were merely planted upon a foundation of Mars Retrograde sand.
