Sharita's Star Secrets merges three of the earths ancient wisdoms: astrology, numerology and lexigrams. Socrates said, know thyself. Through these disciplines insight and understanding of the self can be obtained. By interpreting the planets through our numbers, astrological signs, and names, we can examine any life. These teachings hold invaluable knowledge when interpreted side by side.

By tuning into the collective planetary energy that guides us, balance is brought to our lives. Patterns, timing, career paths, romance, drives, emotional states, compatibility, health, and challenges in life are revealed when we closely examine the affect of our planetary data. The planets are our star guidance that brings us to a needed awareness of our psychological complex; further determining cycles and influences that shape an individual or entity's existence.

It was through the publication of Linda Goodman’s Star Cards which Bush completed after Linda’s passing that first caught Sharita’s attention that aside from Goodman’s Star Signs, became the inspiration behind was has now evolved into the mission of Sharita’s Star Secrets. Bush relates her approval of Sharita’s work in the foreword she provided for ‘It’s All in the Name.’

With Sharita always being a constant student of the stars beyond her services through private or public reading sessions, the Star Learning Series was created to offer teaching and lecture opportunities. For ages 3 and up, she fosters and nurtures any soul’s innate abilities by translating our planets knowledge through art projects and genuine universal education. Her clever projects have been under the education curriculum at New York City’s Claire’s Creative Adventures and at New York’s Finest Metaphysical Store, The Awareness Shop. Her unique development of hands-on, fun and engaging projects and classes soundly instruct the willing student about the real wonders of ‘As Above, So Below.’

Since it’s 2001 inception, Sharita’s Star Secrets has continued to be held in high regard as a valued service that teaches and counsels to all ages across the globe the invaluable knowledge of astrology, numerology and lexigrams through readings, parties, events, and classes.

Since the age of 7, Sharita remembers being attracted to reading the horoscope section of the newspaper. Raised in the beauty of upstate NY, the first period of her life was spent in solitude as a nature lover and a horse enthusiast. She went on to be an honors graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre. Her studies include acting, singing, drawing, writing, photography, reiki, yoga and a formal and extensive education in astrology, numerology and metaphysics.

Called to be of service to others, she credits much of this inspiration and knowledge to the teachings of Astrologer and Poet Linda Goodman. Goodman's teachings introduced the insight of how deeply astrology, numerology and lexigrams are connected. Sharita discovered that Goodman’s revelations were accurate when applied to any person or entity. She has concluded that in order to gain complete insight, these three intertwining subjects must be interpreted together.

Having gained the following of an international clientele, Sharita has now been touted across the globe as a 'Psychic of the Planets.' Steiner Books through their imprint Portal Books, published Sharita's long-awaited first release on the uncanny mysteries of Lexigrams. 'It's All in the Name,’ in July 2011.

Sharita currently travels extensively for work when not at her country home in Chatham, NY.

Aarathi is a graphic designer, a commissioned portrait artist in pencil, conté, pastels and charcoal, as well as a painter using acrylic and oils. She has demonstrated her artistic and creative skills from when she was a child using empty toilet paper rolls and cereal boxes to create packaging. Now she uses computers to bring her artistic visions to the general public. Her art exhibits are displayed in various locations in the tri-state area.

She moved to New York with her family in 1988 and was a student in the Clarkstown School District, where her art abilities were nurtured and she was urged to continue art in her higher education. She was asked to create murals before she left. She attended SUNY Albany for two years concentrating on art and psychology, in pursuit of a career in art therapy.

After 2 years, she decided it was time to take rethink her future. She left school and worked in sales, meeting heads of purchasing departments within the metro area urging them to buy commercial quantities of environmentally safe cleaning products. She was able to satisfy her social personality and a passion to help the community, but there was something missing. She went back to finish her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at SUNY Purchase.

During this time she learned that she could finally make a living using her creativity through photography and graphic design. She was able to travel extensively throughout Europe and India taking numerous photographs of places, art and architecture that she had only studied through books. Aarathi realized in order to get ahead she needed to get a taste of the design world and looked through the yellow pages and started calling companies in the phone book asking if there were internships available. SYS-CON Media asked her to come in to work as an intern and by the time she graduated, she was offered a full-time position as lead designer of XML-Journal.

Her career then led her through a pharmaceutical company and then to a soul-searching journey through Fiji, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. She is currently freelancing and working as the VP of Creative Services at a private executive search firm in Westchester.
