As GM celebrated its’ New Year in 2008, it entered a 26/8 Personal Year of Partnerships, advising to proceed with caution in any pairing throughout the year. The singular 8’s energy denotes the potential for advancements, honor and recognition, along with material gains from the last 7 years work. However, if the right choices leading up to this point have not been made, the very opposite affects may unfold in an 8 Personal Year.

01 June marked the beginning of a 5 Personal Month within this 8 Year for GM- where the 5’s energy of permanent changes sure brought in just a bit more movement than they probably desired. On a 6 Personal Day, where legalities should be addressed, the world learned GM has joined the list of economic examples of what not to do to reap success.

Touching back to astrology, GM’s current transits have Saturn in Virgo square to their natal Pluto in Gemini- equally lending to explaining the hardship it has recently announced. When stern Saturn is squaring off to transformational Pluto, hardship is an easy outcome if responsibility has not been adhered to. Couple this aspect with their current Saturn ruled 8 Personal Year, and it is all about “doing the right thing” or else!

Blockages appear in other areas for this former giant. GM’s natal Mars sits at 14 degrees Virgo, just as our Sun is about to square these very same degrees in it’s current transit through Gemini. The current transit of Saturn is only 1 degree off its’ natal Mars @ 15 degrees Virgo. Woah. Definitely time for GM to do some serious reassessments in their drives, vision and ability to pioneer.

Now, of course, Lexigrams have their usual uncanny tale to tell about this business entity. From the start of this now 100 yr old corporation, there was no doubt GM was meant to rise to the status within the car industry that they did.
